Color Scheme Customization
WealthTec has adopted a standard
color mapping structure. The colors are derived from Excel®'s color
palette. Change the palette and you've changed the look of the software.
It's that simple. By changing the color scheme of graphs, flowcharts,
summaries and cash flow schedules you'll be able to generate reports
that conform more closely to your firm's standard deliverables.
The real challenge in implementing this
feature on your own is less a technical endeavor than a matter of style.
Just keep in mind that customizing the color scheme is an all-or-nothing
proposition: You can't just change, say, a single object in a flowchart.
Instead, your new color palette is applied throughout each module (i.e.,
everything with color is affected).
Structural Color Map
The attached
color grid serves as a
formatting roadmap for the
WealthTec Suite modeling systems.
You'll probably want to print that out so you can refer to it as you create
your own color palettes. The easiest way
of mapping the various blocks below to actual objects in these systems
is to refer to this grid as you review the
systems' input and output screens.
Integrating Your Custom Color Palette
Open a new, blank Excel file to develop the custom color palette. Go to
Tools/Options/Color in Excel, modify the appropriate blocks in Excel's
standard palette and save the file as Colors.xls. Then insert the Colors.xls
file into each system's main folder: Program Files\WealthTec\<App
Name>.
Follow the same steps for another file
associated with
AFFLUENCE's AllocationPro
(ColorsAP.xls), a file associated with
FOUNDATIONS's
DesignPro (ColorsDP.xls) and one associated with
WEALTHMASTER's
Financial Profile (ColorsFP.xls). These files
should also be inserted into
each system's main folder. Once the custom color files are in their
proper places, launch each application and review your work. You'll notice that
each
system automatically substitutes your color scheme for
WealthTec's. That's it.
NOTE: To modify your own scheme, just change the
color palettes in your Colors.xls, ColorsAP.xls, ColorsDP.xls and ColorsFP.xls files to your heart's content and
reinsert them into each system's main folder, overwriting the existing files.
You'll notice how the color scheme gets updated automatically the next time
you launch the software.

Other Customization
Features
In addition to
customizing the
WealthTec Suite color palettes, you can
also add your own custom text headers and footers (left, middle and
right) that appear on each page of system-generated output. You can
also have your firm's logo applied to the top of each report cover
page and report section divider.
Finally, you can export all of your
system-generated output to Excel before printing. Exporting your
illustrations to Excel offers a range of customization possibilities
by allowing you to change fonts and labels, add text, and even add
supplemental calculations to your deliverables. You can also
Copy/Paste or Copy/Paste Special/Link exported tables, graphs and
charts from the export file to Word® documents and PowerPoint®
presentations.
Details of these and other features
can be found in each application's comprehensive Help system or user
manual.
NOTE: Remember that you
can engage
WealthTec to do the customization work
described on this page for an annual fee.
